Privacy Policy

How information is collected, used, and protected when you visit rammy.dev, get in touch, or make a payment.

This Privacy Policy explains how Anthony Ramirez (“I,” “me,” or “my”) handles personal information in connection with rammy.dev (the “Site”) and any products or services offered through it.

1. Information I collect

Information you provide

I may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, company name, project details, messages, and other information you send when you contact me or engage me for work.

Transaction information

If you make a purchase or pay an invoice, I may receive transaction details such as your name, email address, billing address, the product or service purchased, payment amount, date, payment status, and limited payment-method details. I do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Technical and usage information

The Site and its hosting providers may automatically receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, and timestamps. This information is used to deliver, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Site.

Local preferences

The Site uses browser storage to remember whether you have completed or skipped its introductory animation. This preference is stored on your device and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

2. Payment processing

Payments may be processed by Stripe. When you pay through Stripe, you provide payment and related personal information directly to Stripe. Stripe handles that information under its own Privacy Policy. I receive only the information Stripe makes available to merchants for completing the transaction, delivering the purchase, preventing fraud, providing support, and meeting legal or accounting obligations.

3. How I use information

I may use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
  • Prepare proposals and provide requested products or services.
  • Process payments, send receipts, and administer refunds.
  • Maintain business, tax, and accounting records.
  • Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the Site.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
  • Comply with law and enforce applicable agreements.

4. How I disclose information

I may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Service providers that support hosting, email, payment processing, accounting, security, and other business operations.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants, attorneys, or insurers, when their services require it.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or a good-faith effort to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor or potential successor in connection with a reorganization, sale, transfer, or other business transaction.

I do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Retention

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including completing work, supporting customers, maintaining tax and accounting records, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it was collected.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also ask for a portable copy of information or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

To make a request, email hi@rammy.dev. I may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also clear the Site's local preference through your browser settings.

7. Security

I use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to websites and services I do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this policy does not apply to them.

9. Children's privacy

The Site and its commercial services are not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me so I can take appropriate action.

10. International visitors

I operate from the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other places where service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

11. Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect.
